We offer the following classes to learn how to social dance, put on shows, or just get some fitness.

Important: You will not be allowed to join any class if you arrive more than 10 minutes late.

African Rhythms

The following classes are meant for social dancing, not for professional competitions. No partner required.

Kizomba Beginners

This is a 5-week series that covers the fundamentals for dancing kizomba.

Week 1: Partner connection and music genres in the kizomba umbrella

Week 2: Basic steps

Week 3: Virgula and chacha

Week 4: Female saida

Week 5: Male  saida and  casamento

Tarraxinha

Learn this sensual dance on your own or with a partner. The sensual  body movement involves lots of hips. We will occasionally mix it with kizomba to dance to tarraxinha/tarraxa and zouk remixes.

Kizomba (Intermediate)

Learn something different every week to further develop your fundamentals. We will play around with timing and musicality to help your dance be more fluid and smooth. This will be more challenging than Kizomba Open - Level. Dance to  the following  music: Kizomba,  Kizomba/Semba.

Learn semba and  semba show! Semba is the parent dance of kizomba. Learn the fundamentals of  semba with occasional  elements of semba show.

Kiz Fusion (Intermediate)

Learn something different every week. We will combine Kizomba with Tarraxinha, Urban Kiz, and other fusions. We will also play around with timing and musicality to help your dance be more fluid and smooth. Dance to  the following  music: tarraxinha,  ghetto zouk, zouk & kizomba remixes.

Yin Yoga is  great for  stretching and for dancers! The poses apply stress to the connective tissues of the body: the tendons, fascia, and ligaments. It increase circulation in the joints and improves flexibility.

Bellydancec Fusion Drills

Get ready to sweat! This fun dance fitness class will tone and shape you seamlessly with a combination of belly/popping dance moves. This class is medium intensity and therefore welcome to all levels of fitness. Feel a total body burn in less than a hour designed to feel like a party. Learn some of the hottest booty shaking moves while grooving to the music. Come and join the party!

Ballet for Kids

We separate ages into different  group classes.

This is an open level class and beginners are welcome. It will focus on basic ballet skills, technique, rhythm, memorizing terminology, flexibility, and training students to learn concentration and patience.
